    In partnership with the Institut Émilie du Châtelet, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah offers a doctoral and a post-doctoral grant for young researchers working on the history of Jewish women in France during the Second World War and the post-war period (1939-late 1950s).

    From the 2016 academic year

    The European project Convoi 77 intends to piece together the personal life story of each of the 1321 deportees of the last large convoy that left from Drancy to Auschwitz on July 31, 1944, by sending students from the 37 countries the deportees were from on their traces.

    At Barletta, a small town in southern Italy, a quiet but determined hero has brought to life an entire history of forgotten music. For over twenty years, Francesco Lotoro, a professional pianist, has scoured Europe to discover and record music composed clandestinely in World War II.
