The Board of Trustees

The Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah is administered by a 25-member Board of Trustees divided into three sections: representatives of public authorities, representatives of Jewish institutions, and qualified figures.

The Board of Trustees meets at least twice a year. It sets the Foundation’s main goals and monitors progress in reaching them. Acting on a proposal from the Executive Board, it votes on the annual budget, approves the accounts and ensures that the funds and operating expenses are well managed. It also gives its opinion on the funding of projects with particularly large budgets.

In addition to full-fledged trustees, the Foundation’s Board has honorary members, who attend Board meetings but do not have voting rights.
