 Projects may concern :

• The history of the Jewish people
• Religious texts
• Hebrew
• Yiddish, Ladino
• Jewish literature, philosophy, the arts, and audiovisual works

 Foundation funding may be requested for :

• Teaching
• Research
• Creative activity, publications, and translations
• The organisation of debates and conferences

 Projects are evaluated in terms of :

• Relevance to the Foundation’s basic objectives
• The ability of the applicant to successfully complete the project
• Innovative aspects of the project
• Timeliness
• Expected impact
• Use of new technologies
• The appropriateness of the project’s budget, the financial resources of the applicant, and detailed breakdown of the amount requested from the Foundation
• A commitment to ensure the continuity of Judaism through cultural understanding
• A commitment to contribute to the influence of Jewish culture in France and Europe as well as a commitment to a more just and tolerant society
• For films and documentary projects, existence of a distributor
• For book projects, a contract with a publisher

 Deadlines for submission of applications :

Your project will be examined within 4 months of the receipt of the completed application.
