Projects may concern :
- Teaching the history of the "Final Solution” and of Vichy for student and teacher training
- Holocaust teaching methods aimed at students
- The study of internment and extermination camps in France and Europe
- The example of the “Righteous”
- The life of Jews in France between the two world wars and during and after the Holocaust
- Antisemitism
Foundation funding may be requested for :
- Development of teaching manuals and pedagogical materials (CD-roms, distance learning, teaching modules)
- Organisation of training sessions and educational seminars
- Organisation of trips to memorial sites
Projects are evaluated in terms of:
- Relevance to the Foundation’s basic objectives
- The ability of the applicant to successfully complete the project
- Innovative aspects of the project
- Timeliness
- Expected impact
- Use of new technologies
- A validation of the project’s budget, the financial resources of the applicant, and a detailed breakdown of the of the budget requested from the Foundation.
- Consideration of the philosophical and sociological dimensions of the teaching methods
- Methods provided for follow-up of the project
- For films and documentaries: the existence of a distributor
- For manuscripts: a contract with a publisher
- For trips to memorial sites: preparation and follow-up
